From nanny in a manor house to playground worker for 'at risk youth' in Melbourne's St. Kilda Adventure Playground, Helen's breadth of experience informs her educational approach and perspective.

Helen now holds an honours degree in Education from Melbourne University and is an experienced teacher.

She is particularly interested in how storytelling builds children's social, cognitive and linguistic skills. Two of her most popular workshops include Lose the book and What story when...

What story when...

Children love stories and babies love rhymes. Stories bring people closer, they can help a toddler understand the 'layout' of a day and make babies squeal with joy. Learn a variety of storytelling techniques suitable for babies and preschoolers. A fun, interactive and practical workshop suitable for parents, carers and professionals.
